To be considered for one of the bursaries offered by UALL-SCUTREA for the upcoming ‘Go-higher – lifelong learning as the heart of sustainable, equitable and future-facing universities’ conference in Liverpool (June 2025), applicants should submit a proposal detailing their justification for funding.
This proposal should articulate how attending the conference is relevant to their current work, including specific areas of interest and how these align with the conference themes. Applicants must outline their presentation plans, specifying whether they intend to present their own work or engage in discussions that contribute to the conference agenda. If you plan to write a paper for publication, please specify the journal you would like to publish in and the rationale for selecting the journal.
Applicants should describe their plans for reporting back on the impact or outcomes of their attendance, such as through presentations, written reports or sharing insights with peers, ensuring that the insights gained are disseminated within their respective institutions or communities.
The funding available will go towards conference fees, with up to £200 per person awarded. Unfortunately, we cannot offer assistance for all costs. The monies are awarded at the discretion of the SCUTREA Board, who will consider up to 5 applications for the 2025 conference. Submissions to be sent as soon as possible, by the deadline of 25 May 2025, to admin@uall.ac.uk
